How your data is handled in Habi.
Habi is built around your household. The information you add is shared with your housemates to help you run your home together — and kept from everyone else.
Who can see your data
Only the housemates in your household can see your shared household data: chores, expenses, bills, plans, chat, check-ins and the rest. People in other households cannot see yours.
What you share
Your name, email and profile picture are visible to your housemates. Your presence status (Home, Away, Focus, etc.) is shown in Who's home. Notes you add to preferences or check-ins are visible to the house.
Household membership
You can leave a household at any time from House → Leave house. If you're the last member, leaving deletes the household. If you're the owner with others remaining, you'll transfer ownership first.
Your account
You can change your password from You → Change password, and log out from You → Log out. For data deletion requests, contact Habi support at support@habi.app.
Messages & AI
House chat messages are stored for your household. When you ask Habi AI, it only uses your household's data to answer — it never shares it with other households.
